Microblading pre treatment advice

Please ensure you come to your appointment with your brows in shape (I.E HD Brows, or waxed & tinted). If you’re unsure of what shape, please let us know and we can arrange an appointment. This is vital, so that we do not have to cut into the enhancement treatment time.

Please bear in mind when booking an appointment that on some occasion’s clients will need more than the recommended one top up treatment, and all healed results will vary as no two clients are the same.

To ensure the best possible results from your microblading treatment, please make sure your health is in good condition. Get enough sleep, eat well, and exercise.

On the day of your appointment, avoid caffeine & exercise as these can both increase the circulation. 

Also consider washing your hair in the morning as you will need to avoid getting your brows wet for a minimum of 7 days

All waxing treatments should be performed no less than 3 days prior to your enhancement.

Eyebrow tinting should not be performed for 2 weeks prior to enhancement, and 2 weeks after your enhancement.

IPL Laser hair removal should be performed no less than 2 weeks prior to your enhancement Electrolysis treatments should be performed no less than 5 days prior to your enhancement

No alcohol should be consumed 48 hours prior to enhancement, and after your enhancement (Please bear this in mind when scheduling in your appointment!)

No AHA products should be used for 2 weeks prior to enhancement, and after your enhancement (Please ask if you are unsure!)

No aspirin/ibuprofen should be taken 48 hours prior to enhancement, and after your enhancement 

Do not undergo any skincare beauty treatments for 4/6 weeks after your enhancement 

Please let us know of any medication OR multivitamins that you’re taking prior to your enhancement as this can affect the result

Permanent makeup is NOT recommended for clients who are or have:

Under the age of 18 Pregnant or Breastfeeding HIV/AIDS

Hepatitis
Haemophilia
Diabetic
Undergoing chemotherapy/Radiotherapy

Viral infections and/or diseases
Epilepsy
Pacemaker or a major heart condition
Had an organ transplant
Skin irritations OR psoriasis/eczema/dermatitis near the treated area (INCLUDING rashes, sunburn, acne or bruises)
Conjunctivitis
Cuts or abrasions in the treated area
Hypersensitive skin
Hyperpigmention
Vitiligo

Keloid scarring
Feeling sick (Cold, Flu)
Had Botox in the past two months

Used Accutane in the past year
Used acne medication in the last 12 months
Recent scar tissue in the treated area
Used/using St John’s Wort or Vitamin E supplements (please let us know how long ago since last taking supplements)

Please be aware you may experience the following symptoms for the first few days which are common during the healing process:

Minor swelling & redness, mild tenderness Itchiness in and around the treatment area

Dry flaking skin (due to scabbing)

DO NOT PICK, PEEL OR RUB your enhancement as this can cause the colour to heal unevenly, and you’re at risk of infection, which can then lead to scarring. Allow the colour to flake naturally.

All materials used for each microblading treatment are sterile and disposed after each client following strict legislative guidelines. We are fully licensed with Colchester Borough Council, insured, and adhere to strict infection control guidelines and practices.

You have one complimentary top up treatment, which is to be scheduled subject to appointment availability 4/6 weeks after your initial treatment. Therefore we would advise to book as soon as possible, availability is highly limited. If for any reason you have to cancel, or reschedule your top up appointment, and it does not meet the 4/6 week time frame there will be a charge. If you arrive late for your appointment, then unfortunately the appointment will be cancelled and booking fee forfeited. As this will delay our schedule and isn’t fair on the following clients for the day.

The treatment room is not equipped for children or babies, so we would advise childcare arrangements to be made prior to any appointment. Unfortunately we will not be able to carry out your treatment otherwise, and any booking fee paid will be forfeited. Please understand that we do not allow anyone but the client in the treatment room, due to the nature of the treatment please do not ask, as we cannot make exceptions.

IT’S IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT MICROBLADING IS NOT SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A SUCESSFUL RESULT ON 100% OF OUR CLIENTS DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE TREATMENT, DIFFERENT SKIN TYPES & HEALTH ISSUES. 

WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS DUE TO CARRYING OUT THE TREATMENT AT A COST TO OURSELVES. 

COMPLETE SYMMETRY IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE.
